My name is Valerie, my middle name is Jane and since starting my art page on instagram, Jane the Stranger has stuck. I'm not a person who loves the spotlight, I want my work to speak for itself.

I've loved art all my life, it has helped to express my emotions when words fail me. In 2017 I quit my desk job to focus on art full time. In 2018 and I was offered a tattoo apprenticeship and it has been a life changing experience. I never thought I'd be able to combine my biggest passion and my work life. My third grade art teacher would be proud.
